    But 71 children from 37 families with parents currently incarcerated in the Warren County Jail had a slightly brighter Christmas as a result of the Warren County Prison Ministry and the joint effort of several area churches. the project results in the purchase of Christmas gifts for the children of incarcerated parents, followed by a Christmas party where those families can come together.

    The Warren County Commissioners have approved a settlement agreement with subsidiaries of Journey Health regarding the tax exempt status of several Warren County properties. The agreement has numerous parties - companies including the Children's Home of Bradford, Pa., Ramsbottom Center, Inc. and Deerfield Behavioral Health - with a shared address of 800 E. Main St., Bradford, as well as governmental entities including the county Board of Assessment Appeals, City of Warren, Conewango Township, the county and the Warren County School District.

Commissioner Cindy Morrison asked what generated so much interest and Gilbert said that it might have been people becoming aware of the judicial sale process. He said he was surprised at the number of bids and surmised that making the information regarding the properties and the various sales available on the county website could have increased interest in the process.
