Yonkers resident Jorge Delmoral, 32, is facing a series of new charges after he allegedly failed to register a pair of email addresses with the State of New York, which is required by the Sex Offender Registry Act following his previous conviction in 2014, which led to an investigation.

On the steps of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Rochester on Wednesday, attorney Mitchell Garabedian announced the names of eight pastors - including Thomas J. Valenti, who served at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers for a decade before departing in 2014 - who are alleged to have sexually abused more than a dozen children while serving at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester.

Yonkers resident Theresa Casey, 59, has pleaded guilty to a felony count of second-degree grand larceny in Westchester County Court on Thursday, District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced, after stealing $246,752 over the span of several years while working for Allan M. Block Insurance Company in Tarrytown.

Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter last month is due to be sentenced on Tuesday, when he will face a maximum term of up to 15 years in state prison for his role in the Aug. 26 fatal crash last year.
