    Francois Jouaux, 46, of Woodside, died Sunday when an allegedly drunken driver crossed the double-yellow line on La Honda Road and hit him head-on, according to the CHP. A man who allegedly killed another driver in a head-on crash near La Honda and ran into the woods to escape is scheduled to be arraigned on vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run charges this afternoon, prosecutors said.

Mark Sweyer, who co-owns Woodside Bakery at 3052 Woodside Road with his sister, Jan Sweyer, said he is hopes being near Facebook and other big tech firms will help the wholesale operation get off the ground.

I read about a Caltrans project to install a deer fence awhile ago, but I have not seen any activity since. I realize that there are many competing projects, but putting up this fence will prevent injuries and deaths of both humans and deer.
