    A 71-year-old Woodsboro man was killed in a three-vehicle accident on State Highway 202 Friday night in Bee County. According to Texas Department of Public Safety accident investigators, the victim was killed when the Chevrolet pickup he was driving was struck head-on by a Chevrolet Suburban driven by a woman at about 8:30 p.m. The report filed by troopers said the 71-year-old man, Mario Garcia, was driving west in the eastbound lane at the time of the accident.

The Woodsboro City Council pointed out that to grant the variances would mean rewriting the entire ordinance. Both Tim Dickey, who owns the building at 109 Wood Ave. and Carrie Harmon, who owns the building at 107 Wood Ave., both addresses on the town square, requested the variance to the ordinance to open new game rooms at the addresses.
