    At least 150, and up to 300 people were inside the JCC of Greater New Haven on Amity Road in Woodbridge when a fire broke out in a sauna on the lower floor around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. Everyone was evacuated when local police and firefighters from Bethany, Orange and Woodbridge rushed there in response to the four-alarm fire. Children and babies from the daycare center inside, along with members who were swimming when the fire broke out were brought next door to the Brookdale Woodbridge Senior Living Facility where they could be safe and warm.
