    J.W. Oliver An Alna man is in "serious, but stable" condition after sustaining a head injury, the "accidental result" of a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot to a woman in Alna Saturday, Nov. 22. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and first responders from Alna and Wiscasset received a call at 7:17 a.m. to respond to a residence on the West Alna Road for a report of a woman with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. The emergency personnel found Laura Ezzell-Travis, 23, deceased and A.J. Lang, 22, suffering from a head injury.
