    A Winthrop man was jailed Tuesday following an alleged domestic dispute in which he grabbed his girlfriend by the hair and threw her to the ground causing extreme pain, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies. He was also found to be in possession of a firearm which was in violation of the same order in which he was ordered to turn over all firearms to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
