    A 56-year-old Winterhaven man was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by a motorcycle while attempting to cross Interstate 8. According to information provided by Officer Jason Salizzoni, of the CHP Winterhaven office, the collision happened at approximately 8:45 a.m. just west of the 4th Avenue overpass. The initial investigation into the collision revealed that the rider of a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling west on Interstate 8 in the far left passing lane.
