    An Elizabeth City resident who operated a summer etiquette program for young people and who was recently awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, died Thanksgiving Day following a vehicle accident in Bertie County. Nancy Bragg Dawson Rascoe Stevenson, 86, died at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, Thursday, as a result of injuries she suffered in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 17, seven miles east of Windsor, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
