    Wilmington Sharks first baseman Alex Destino has been named the Coastal Plain League's Hitter of the Week for June 29-July 5. Destino, a freshman at South Carolina this past spring, had his best week of the 2015 CPL season so far hitting .433 in six games for the Sharks. Batting cleanup, Destino totaled seven RBI and 13 hits including two doubles and three home runs for a .800 slugging percentage and 24 total bases on the week.
