    The Davis School Arts Foundation announces a new event: the Davis Chamber Music Festival, set for Sunday, Oct. 8, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., at the Brunelle Performance Hall at Davis High School, 315 W. 14th St. It will feature local professional musicians including violinist William Barbini, a graduate of the Juilliard School, the longtime artistic director of the Chamber Music Society of Sacramento and a former member of the New York Philharmonic; violinist Kineko Okumura, also a graduate of Juilliard; renowned cellist and teacher Julie Hochman, a graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University; and pianist I-Hui Chen, an experienced concert pianist and accompanist who graduated from New England Conservatory.
