    To further foster water supply planning efforts and engage community stakeholders in preparation for drought emergencies in the future, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District received $115,000 to expand its drought contingency plan. The funding, which was made available through the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation, will allow EVMWD to address several factors to sustain water supply security and reliability within the region over the next several years.

The non-injury blaze was reported shortly after 9 a.m. in the 33200 block of Loquat Street, just off Interstate 15, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Courtesy Photo Ray Anderson , the founder and owner of Maxt Sports Academy in Murrieta has joined together with the Amateur Athletic Union to hold an upcoming Strength Sports Festival at his new location in Crossfit Inland valley, located at 24335 Prielipp Road, Ste 120, in Wildomar on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3. Anderson, who has been a certified personal and sports performance trainer for the past 40 years, and has set multiple world records for lifting, will be on hand to help guide, instruct and compete in this unique event.

The move comes about following a county report that highlighted shortcomings in the way nonprofit runs its business. AFV currently provides a full range of sheltering services to the cities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Murrieta and Temecula.
