    A self-employed contractor is accused of taking money from multiple customers with the promise of home improvement projects, but then never completing the jobs or returning the money, state police said. Steven A. Olender, 57, of Pinecrest Road, Whitesboro, was charged Saturday with third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud, all felonies.
