Eric Banks, 25, of the Northeast Side, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and one count of aggravated drug trafficking in the Feb. 10 overdose death of 56-year-old Dale Rogers.

According to Whitehall police, the Joint Eastside Tactical Response Team went to an apartment in the 5300 block of Great Oak Way north of East Main Street about 8 a.m. Friday where they said someone was selling fentanyl-laced heroin.

Thompson Jr., now 17, had pleaded guilty in July to voluntary manslaughter and felonious assault, both with gun specifications, in the Jan. 13, 2015, shooting at Players Family Billiards, 4380 E. Main St. The case was transferred to adult court by a Juvenile Court judge who found that Thompson was unlikely to respond to treatment in the juvenile system.
