    Two men, one following the other home from a golf outing, were arrested for drunk driving when the first was pulled over for using a parking lane to pass, and the second walked up to the cop to find out what the trouble was. The double drunken driving arrest occurred Tuesday as both drivers were traveling on Warner Street in Whitehall, according to Whitehall Police Chief Roger Squiers.

    Two people were injured during a two-vehicle accident on South Water Road near Wilke in Grant Township July 12. The Oceana County Sheriff's Office accident report indicated driver Tyler Michael Rutzen, 23, of 1816 Summer Set Ct., Shelby, and passenger Brianna Lee Voorhees, 22, of 2865 Colby Rd., Whitehall, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon for treatment. The report indicates Rutzen was traveling south on Water Road when he was passed by a second vehicle driven by Joel Micah Howe, 18, of 3070 W. Wilke Rd. Rothbury.
