The Metropolitan visited St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 E. Dempster St., Des Plaines, to celebrate the Matins of the Last Supper, followed by the custom of the "Washing of the Feet" , commemorating Jesus Christ's washing of his disciples' feet after the Last Supper.
