    Through donations by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and Motorola, the village of Westfield was recently able to save upward of $22,000 on its impending mandated radio purchase. On Monday at the village board meeting, Police Chief Robert Genthner told those in attendance that Motorola transferred ownership of two APX 6500 portable radios which were demo units the Sheriffs received for testing.

The renovation will call for the library to operate on alternate hours followed by a brief closing.
