    As a resident of West Valley City for over 30 years, I have attended public open houses as well as the one evening of public comment about placing a homeless shelter in either West Valley City or South Salt Lake. The more I have studied this issue, the more strongly I believe that none of these sites selected by Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams is appropriate, for the following reasons: West Valley City is already doing more than its share with housing for low-income populations.
