San Antonio-based Petro Waste Environmental said it will start construction on a 217-acre oil field landfill in Reeves County in the Permian Basin in West Texas. The landfill at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 652 and U.S. 285 will accept oil- and water-based mud, drill cuttings, contaminated soil, and oil and gas waste that is exempt from Resource Conservation and Recovery Act hazardous waste requirements.
