The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Artificial Reef program sank the 371-foot cargo vessel Kraken on Jan. 20. The vessel was sunk 140 feet below the surface so that over time it will attract fish, coral and other sea life and become a recreation area for divers and fishermen, the department said.
