    The Board of Appeal voted today to let developers John Morrissey and Michael Forde replace a vacant stretch of stores on Belgrade Avenue near the Bellevue commuter-rail stop with a four-story building that will house 21 apartments, first-floor retail space and 24 underground parking spaces. The number of parking spaces is less than required by zoning, but the developers noted the commuter-rail platform is 200 feet from the building and that Belgrade Avenue has five bus lines running down it.

As he was being arrested, DEA agents and state troopers were searching his Glendower Road apartment in search of records, phones and other possible evidence further connecting him to the ring he allegedly ran with Deiby Victoria of Saugus, who was also arrested.

The main changes in the project, which the board rejected in April were a shift in the driveway location away from the Needham Line bridge and owner Michael Argiros's decision to hire local construction workers to put up the three-story building, rather than having the bulk of the building built in a factory and then assembled on site.
