    A West Haven man was charged with evading responsibility Nov. 29 after police said he hit a motorcyclist with his car and then fled the scene. Police said Gordon Farrell, 20, of Burwell Rd., West Haven, was followed by a witness after striking a motorcycle rider on Bridgeport Avenue near Avery Avenue Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. Milford police responded to the scene, but Farrell had left.

Zachary, who will attend Dartmouth College, and Samarth, who will attend the University of Connecticut Honors Program, were both recently named Superintendent Summa Scholar Award recipients by the Archdiocese of Hartford Office of Catholic Schools.
