    Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Kohl's, 250 Bull Hill Lane, Jan. 2 at 8:09 p.m. at which the suspect was in custody in the security office. According to the report, Sky Winwood, 27, of 323 Washington Ave., West Haven, was accused of taking $366 worth of clothing and perfume into the fitting room where she allegedly removed all the sales tags and then hid the items in a baby stroller carrying her son.

    Officers responded to an assault complaint at a private residence on Orange Center Road, Sunday, Nov. 30 at 1:45 p.m. According to the report, officers learned that Vito Sabato, 26, of 216 Park St #2, West Haven, had come to the home regarding a debt owed to him by one of the residents, a juvenile. Sabato found the juvenile sleeping inside the residence, struck him, demanded the debt be repaid, then took the juvenile's cell phone and e-cigarette before leaving.
