    The St. Charles Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire in the 1800 block of South Third Place at 1:41 p.m. Feb. 19. Units were on the scene by 1:44 p.m., and - upon arrival - firefighters found a fire that had burned from the exterior of the structure into the house and the attic, stated a news release. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in approximately 30 minutes, stated the release.
