    For the second time this week, the Welsh Greyhounds took care of the Elton Indians by out-gunning their Jeff Davis Parish visitors by a final of 63-52. Four Greyhounds splattered the scoring column with double digits, and a big second quarter broke open a game that got a little chippy in the back-end.

    A group of local high school football players will have the chance to extend their season by one more game when they take part in the inaugural I-10 Bowl to be held on December 17 at 2 p.m. from Sulphur High School. The game will pit Lafayette area all-stars against a team of all-stars based out of the Lake Charles area.
