Lindsey Nicole Blansett, who is charged with the first-degree premeditated murder and aggravated assault of Caleb Blansett, will spend 30 to 45 days undergoing the psychological testing in preparation for a jury trial, Sumner County County Attorney Kerwin Spencer said Tuesday.

Lindsey Nicole Blansett appeared briefly in Sumner County Court on Thursday afternoon. Her attorney, Michael Brown, said that he wanted to bring in the psychologist who completed her competency evaluation for questioning before a judge rules on whether she is fit to stand trial on a first-degree murder charge in the Dec. 14 fatal stabbing of Caleb Blansett.
