    A Roanoke man remained in Randolph County Jail on Monday after he was arrested Saturday in connection with the death of an infant, officials said. On Feb. 21, the Randolph County 911 dispatch center received a call from Melissa Dobbs around 9 a.m. that her six-week-old daughter, Madison Newsome, was not breathing, according to a news release sent by Chief Deputy Bill Lane of the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
