    William Thomas "W.T." Greene, 64, accepted a plea deal in Superior Court Tuesday in which he pleaded guilty to the charge of felony obstruction of justice in exchange for the district attorney's office dropping the original charge of felony bribery. Greene was charged with bribery stemming from an incident that occurred on Oct. 12, 2014, in which he allegedly offered Waynesville police officers $2,000 to release his son, Travis Greene, without charge.
