Vicksburg defeated Wayland 14-2 in a game called after five innings at Davenport University due to the mercy rule.

State police said a 35-year-old Wayland area man was pushing a bicycle on the road shoulder, west of Sixth Street, about 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 when he was struck by the truck.
