    On Friday at 11:32 a.m., Waveland police officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 90 east bound and Waveland Avenue in response to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident, Prendergast said in a release from the Waveland Police Department. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle involved, a 2003 Chevy Suburban, Prendergast said in the release.
