    The Hancock County Utility Authority is losing about $10,000 per month and may soon go bankrupt if the cities of Bay St. Louis and Waveland do not start buying water and paying for upkeep and operations, officials said Friday. The utility authority, which manages more than $110 million in assets, has less than $150,000 in the bank and one major problem could jeopardize the entire operation, officials said Friday.
