    Bay St. Louis and Waveland weren't the only Coast municipalities that got less money from 2015 Tidelands Fund appropriations than expected - the city of Pass Christian got about $75,000 of a requested $295,000. "To say we're disappointed at this point would be an understatement," Pass Christian Mayor Leo "Chipper" McDermott said Tuesday.

    A Waveland woman on Thursday nearly overdosed after allegedly "huffing" at the Gates of Coral Bay Apartments on Highway 90. According to police reports, the Waveland police and fire departments were called to the apartment complex at 5:42 p.m. on Thursday. Apparently, a 22-year-old woman had locked herself in the bathroom of an apartment and was "huffing" some type of aerosol canister, the report said.
