TOWN OF PLEASANT SPRINGS -- Dane County emergency responders who found two unconscious men in a minivan at an intersection revived one of them, but the other died of an apparent overdose.

A Racine County judge sent a letter to the governor in February of 2012, expressing concerns about the case at Lincoln Hills School, the handling which ended up being so poor that Racine County stopped sending youth offenders to the facility.

    The Janesville Police Department says officers were dispatched to a disturbance at Hammy's Roadside Bar on Center Avenue around 1:00 a.m. Thursday. Witnesses say two subjects were physically fighting and one of them left in a vehicle and was headed toward the Pine Tree Inn on East U.S. Highway 14. Officers located the vehicle near the Pine Tree Inn and contacted the driver, identified as Stanley Rulestead, 45, of Janesville.

McMillen's earlier trial for attempted first-degree intentional homicide was halted by a mistrial in the middle of jury deliberation.
