Gillibrand, D-N.Y., visited Credo Community Center & Mountain View Prevention Services Tuesday to unveil a new bill that would reduce the over-prescription of opioid medication. Co-sponsored by Sen. Gillibrand and U.S. Sen. John S. McCain, R-Ariz., the Opioid Addiction Prevention Act would limit an initial opioid prescription for acute pain to a seven-day supply.
