Investigators said Brown was driving a Ford F350 pickup truck on August 9 along State Route 5. Brown's ability was reportedly impaired by a substance - either alcohol or drugs.

    The Health Department said a local McDonald's worker served customers between Oct. 31 and Nov. 8 at the Mound Road restaurant before learning she was diagnosed with hepatitis A. "Because of the threat to public health, we felt it was very important that we have these immunization clinics," Swinehart said. "So far we've immunized a little bit over 2,600 people...we are prepared to immunize up to 5,000 people if we needed to."

    The lawsuit was filed against Jascor, Inc., which owns the McDonald's on Mound Road, on behalf of a Waterloo resident who said he was exposed to Hepatitis A at the restaurant. Earlier this week, the Seneca County Health Department announced an employee at the restaurant had the illness, and that customers may have been exposed between November 3 and 7. One thousand people were treated as part of the county's screening clinics set up following the reported exposure.

    Waterloo, Seneca County, N.Y. - The Seneca County Health Department has confirmed a case of Hepatitis A in a McDonalds' employee in Waterloo. Public health officials are recommending people who consumed food/drink from the McDonalds at 2500 Mound Road Waterloo between October 31, 2015 and November 14, 2015 and were not previously vaccinated consider being vaccinated.
