    A Maryland man was struck and killed by a vehicle early Thursday near Logan Circle in Northwest Washington, police said. At about 2:20 a.m., 44-year-old Armin Amin-Toomaji of Potomac and another pedestrian were crossing the 1400 block of Ninth Street NW from the east curb to the west curb when Amin-Toomaji was struck by a 2003 Mercedes-Benz, D.C. police said in a statement.
