Manuel Rico Jimenez, 46, of Elkhart was arrested on preliminary charges of felony battery on a child under the age of 14. A press release by the Elkhart Police Department said Jimenez was also wanted on a warrant for failing to appear to a court hearing where his original charge was possession of marijuana.
