    The search for a missing Jamestown man continued Friday as Jamestown police, with assistance from the State Police Aviation Unit, searched various sections of the city with a helicopter. The search for 35-yer-old Sean Carpenter went into its second week after the city man was last seen in the early morning hours of April 11 reportedly heading toward his home on Superior Street.

    An accident involving a car and farm equipment sent one to the hospital with minor injuries in Kennedy on Thursday afternoon. New York State Police responded after 3 p.m. to Route 62. Police say 67-year-old Gary Wood, of Warren, Pa., was driving a green Subaru heading southbound when he struck a New Holland Discbine mower, which was hooked to a tractor operated by 76-year-old Joseph Marsh of Kennedy.
