    Seth Smith, 34, of Green Park Avenue in West Ashley, the second suspect in the April 18 slaying of George Akeem Bennett, was taken into custody Wednesday morning near Walterboro by the U.S. marshals, Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said. Bennett, 28, of North Charleston was fatally shot about 11:30 a.m. as he sat in a car at the Wraggborough Extension public housing complex at Reid and East Bay streets.
