    WAILUKU, Maui, Hawaii The County of Maui's Department of Environmental Management reported that a wastewater overflow of approximately 1305 gallons occurred on February 9, 2017 in Kahului. The overflow started at 8:00 a.m. and was stopped by 8:30 a.m. The overflow was caused by an air relief valve failure.

The small business revitalization grants are designed to assist businesses with fewer than 10 employees and that do business in Maui County's rural communities such as Hana and Molokai, which have been identified as the areas hardest hit in their ability to recover from economic downturns.
