The arrest came less than 24 hours after a friend of Gamboa's held a car wash/bake sale in Waynesboro to help fund search efforts for the mother of four, who would have turned 40 on July 16. Virginia Beach police confirmed in a news release that 41-year-old Lamont Johnson was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and four counts of contributing to the delinquency or abuse of a child.
