Longport successfully defended its 2016 title after the foursome of John Tepper, Max Mittelman, Tim Schwegman and Taylor Phy made their way through single-elimination competition and then beat out a dozen lifeguards from Ocean City and four from Harvey Cedars in the final event to keep the coveted title in South Jersey.
