    Victoria city and county residents may take tree debris to the limb drop-off center at Aloe Field, 21900 Zac Lentz Parkway, just west of Bob White Road and Loop 463. This drop-off site is free and open seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. City contractor AshBritt reports, as of Tuesday, that 29 trucks have collected 135,104.85 cubic yards of tree debris with about 64,895.15 cubic yards remaining to be collected on this first pass.

    After a year hiatus, I'm pleased to announce the return of Frels Fright Fest horror film festival, Friday October 20 and Saturday October 21, named after the late Rubin Frels who owned several movie theaters in Victoria. The film festival was created in 2014 after Anthony Pedone and myself decided to establish a small festival to screen new and classic horror films during October.
