    Cortlandt will formally dedicate its new park facilities at Lake Meahagh on Saturday, according to town Supervisor Linda D. Puglisi. The park is on Westchester Avenue and the public is invited to the ceremony, which begins at 11 a.m. The town will also dedicate a tree planted in memory of Robert "Sinbad" Sinclair, a beloved employee of the town Highway Department, and a bench, which honors Jefferey Kessler, the late son of another longtime town employee, Thomas Kessler.

    A 72-year-old Buchanan man sexually assaulted a juvenile victim under the age of 13 at a residence in the Verplanck section of Cortlandt over the course of several years, New York state police said. Additional victims have come forward reporting they were abused by Calman Greenburg, state police said, adding that it is anticipated that Greenburg will face additional charges.
