    According to Oneida County Sheriff' Robert Maciol, on Saturday May 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. the Oneida County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident on State Route 31 at the intersection of Sand Hill Rd. in the Town of Verona. Upon arriving on scene deputies determined that Charles D. Cope, 72, of Berkshire, was operating a silver 2015 Ford Taurus westbound on State Route 31 when he collided with another vehicle, a black 2014 Honda Accord operated by Gary S. Metz, 57, of Illion.
