Upon arriving on scene deputies determined that Charles D. Cope, 72, of Berkshire, was operating a silver 2015 Ford Taurus westbound on State Route 31 when he collided with another vehicle, a black 2014 Honda Accord operated by Gary S. Metz, 57, of Illion.
