Deputies from the Tuscola Sheriff's Department said that a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man from Fostoria was westbound on Ormes and had stopped at the stop sign, but then drove into the path of a northbound vehicle on Vassar.

The accident happened about 4:53 p.m. Monday, April 6, at the intersection of Belsay and Birch Run when the westbound motorcyclist struck a southbound car that failed to yield at Birch Run Road, police said after a preliminary investigation.
