    UPPER MARLBORO, MD Prince George's County State's Attorney Angela Alsobrooks announced Tuesday that Takoma Park Police Officer Travis Ala has been indicted on charges of first and second degree assault, and use of a handgun during a crime of violence after a road rage incident last July. "We take these charges very seriously and it is especially troubling that a police officer, someone who is sworn to protect citizens, would chose to behave in a manner that threatened the three citizens in the other vehicle and potentially all those driving around him that morning," Alsobrooks said.
