According to the South Carolina Department of Social Services website the Senior's Farmers Market Nutrition Program "provides fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community supported agriculture programs to low-income seniors.

    The report states Gore spit in the face of a jailer after being restrained. - Christopher Scott Austin, 28, of 250 Old English Road, Union, was charged with kidnapping and second-degree domestic violence around 2 p.m. May 10. - Samantha Gray Weaver, 21, of 1076 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, was charged with attempting to purchase more than 3.6 grams of ephedrine in a day around 5:50 p.m. May 11. - Christian Blake Braxton, 21, of 108 Longview Heights, Union, was charged with breach of peace around 11:40 p.m. May 11. - Cynthia Ann Riffle, 57, of 5851 Cross Keys Hwy., Enoree, was charged with third-degree domestic violence around 5:09 a.m. May 11. According to the incident report, Riffle threw a plate of food in a man's face and poured coffee and beer on him during an argument which took place at the residence where Riffle and the man both reside.
