According to Tyler Police, officers received a call from a victim stating that they were giving Wilson a ride when Wilson pulled out a gun and held it in his lap.

    TYLER, Texas A 30-year-old Longview, Texas man has been indicted for his role in a student financial aid fraud scheme in the Eastern District of Texas, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Brit Featherston today. Robert Brisco was indicted by a federal grand jury today and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and mail fraud, multiple counts of mail fraud, and multiple counts of student financial aid fraud.

    According to the Tyler Police Department, on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., police responded to the 1700 block of Lake Placid and San Jacinto Drive where a female riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle. Police determined that the female identified as Sara Scott, 19 of Tyler was traveling southbound on San Jacinto Drive and entered out into the intersection of Lake Placid Road failing to yield the right of way to a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Lake Placid Road.

    On April 20th, 2017, officers of the Tyler Police Department responded to a call for service at the Rodeway Inn Hotel, located at 3393 Loop 323 SSW in Tyler. The caller, a black female victim, age 17, told officers that she had been picked up the day before from a restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas and was brought to Tyler by three male subjects, later identified by investigators as Cederrick Monshod Shaquil Clarkson , Demarcus Franshun Davis and Kentrell Dewayne Davis .

    According to the Tyler Police Department, the new ordinance language means police will now measure noise complaints at specific decibel levels, much like monitoring speed on a roadway, rather than using personal judgment if sounds from cars, residences or businesses are deemed too loud past the noise curfew. The new ordinance means any noise above 75 decibels from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday is subject to violation.
