    Location filming in Los Angeles County jumped 11 percent in the first quarter of this year over last, thanks in part to a lineup of television shows including “Veep,” “Animal Kingdom,” “Rosewood” and “Twin Peaks,” an industry tracker said Tuesday. The film sector led the way, with location filming soaring 23.7 percent to 1,145 shoot days as the industry responded to a more robust California Film & Television Tax Credit Program, said FilmL.A., a nonprofit that serves as the film office for the city and county of Los Angeles.

Six of the mannequins had names of current or former deputies assigned to the Twin Peaks sheriff's station, and one had a probation officer's name.
